Rick Santorum's decision to drop out of the presidential race this week and hand the reins to Mitt Romney ended one front in the so-called "War on Women." (Or did it?)
Looking to erase the enormous gender gap he now faces, Romney named his wife, Ann, as his chief adviser on lady issues.
In response to the appointment, lesbian adoptive mom Hilary Rosen asserted that Ann has never worked a day in her life, and is therefore unfit to serve in such a capacity.
And that's when the Twit hit the fan.
Though Rosen's claim was technically correct, it was equally politically incorrect; and it quickly drew rebukes from the Obama campaign, as well as the President and First Lady.
Also, too, it failed to account for one important fact—the Romneys' horses don't dress themselves.
